AI Integration & Custom Tooling

Connect the AI to your actual stack: CRM, accounting, booking, inventory, internal databases. Plus the small internal tools nobody sells you.

Why this work is worth doing

Most stalled AI projects stall in the same place. The model works, the demo was fine, and then it turns out the data lives in four systems, one of them has no API, and nobody owns the definition of a customer.

This is the plumbing. It is also where the value is, because once the systems can talk, the automations stop being brittle and the internal tools become possible.

What we build

  • /01

    Integration layer

One place where your systems meet, with retries, logging and a clear record of what wrote what and when.

  • /02

    Custom internal tools

The review queue, the pricing calculator, the stock checker. Small, ugly, fast, and built for the six people who use it daily.

  • /03

    Documentation

Written for whoever comes after us. Data flows, credentials policy, failure modes and how to change things safely.

Four systems, one definition of a customer

  • 01MappedEvery system, what it holds, who owns it and how it is actually keyed.
  • 02ReconciledOne customer record, with the rules for merging written down and agreed.
  • 03ConnectedIntegration layer with retries, audit log and alerting.
  • 04TooledInternal screens for the jobs that were being done in a spreadsheet.
  • 05DocumentedHanded over in writing, so you are not dependent on us to change it.

Questions we get about AI Integration & Custom Tooling

Our main system has no API. Now what?

Exports on a schedule, a database read replica, or in the worst case a controlled screen automation. We have shipped all three. We tell you which one you are getting during scope.

Will you work with our IT team?

Gladly, and to their rules on access, hosting and review. Where there is no IT team we set the rules and write them down.

Can this run in our own cloud?

Yes. Your infrastructure or ours, UK or EU region either way.

Are the internal tools maintainable?

They are plain, documented, and use boring technology on purpose. Any competent developer can pick them up.

How do you handle credentials?

Held in a secret manager, never in code or in a spreadsheet, rotated on handover, with access logged.

What if we want to take it in-house later?

Then you should. The documentation exists for exactly that, and we will spend a day handing it over properly.

Tell us the task. We'll tell you if it's worth automating.

Twenty minutes is usually enough to know. If it is not a good fit we will say so.
